Why we play

For Us, It’s a Round of Golf. For Them, It Can Be the Road Back to School.

We live, work and build community in the United States. Through this tournament, we come together around something we love and use it to support children in Venezuela.

Swing for Children of Venezuela began with a simple round of golf among friends who shared a common purpose: to make a tangible difference in the lives of children in Venezuela.

Three years later, that gathering has grown into an annual tournament initially organized by South Florida’s Venezuelan community and now embraced by Americans, businesses and others who share the same commitment.

This year, that mission carries added weight. The June 2026 earthquakes interrupted school years for many children in Venezuela, and getting them back into a classroom is where our support goes.

Friends of Children of Venezuela works to help children regain stability, continue learning and move toward formal education.

This year, we play for something bigger.
