Three Consecutive Years of Golf for a Greater Cause.
It began with a simple round of golf among friends who wanted to do something meaningful for children in Venezuela. Then more people joined. More businesses stepped forward. The field grew. The amount raised grew. And what began as one day among friends started becoming a South Florida tradition with a purpose.
84 players came together for the first Swing for Children of Venezuela tournament. $6,000 raised — the inaugural event demonstrated that a shared love of golf could become a powerful way to support children in Venezuela.
The funds raised helped strengthen well-established programs that provide ongoing support to children through education, nutrition and health.
104 players — a larger field and an expanding community of supporters. $12,000 raised — the second tournament built on the momentum of the inaugural year and strengthened the community behind the mission.
The growing support helped Friends of Children of Venezuela continue developing programs focused on giving vulnerable children greater access to learning, nutrition and opportunity.
Golf, community and purpose come together for our third consecutive year. But 2026 brings a new urgency. The earthquakes that struck Venezuela disrupted communities, displaced families and placed additional pressure on children whose education was already vulnerable. This year, the tournament has an opportunity to help transform that emergency into a path forward.
